On Walker Island sim where Lawson Station is located you'll find a small shopping district on the south west corner of the sim. Most stores have put out a freebie in store, but you'll want to pay particular attention to a couple of spots.

Since you'll probably spot MODE in the corner of this sim, I'll write a bit about it. If you like exploring you'll also want to take a look at MODE which is an area that displays pictures of outfits, information on the outfits, & in front of each picture of the outfit you'll find slurls for each piece in the outfit. Some of these slurls are outdated, but a number of them did yield at least one freebie while others were a complete bust. Although you may not find the exact freebie pictured at Mode you'll find a lot of interesting areas to explore. So this might be something to do when you're bored and in search of some freebies or when you're in the mood for shopping since most of the items that did cost were still available at the slurls displayed. Shapes and Skin, Oh My!

Joodle of Wig Wam Bam dropped a package on me. She's started making shapes and has created skins using Eloh's Another Shop Skins as base. You get a shape, 3 skins with choice of eyebrow hues, eyelashes fit to the shape, and eyes for $850 and sold in limited runs of 30 then retired. She's made a special package for $1. Some End Others Start

Ending at 9 pm tonight (Saturday 9 pm slt) is the Prim & Proper ( Shengri La 90/77/25) sale. You'll find tons of stuff for the Ladies and a nice assortment of period accessories for the Gents. All sale proceeds are going Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society. Most items are $100 and under! From the Prim & Proper group announcement:

The ringlet hair style comes in brunette and platinum. Tons of hats are in the folder you'll receive and I'd venture that a guy would look dashing in the musketeer hat. You'll also receive the fox stole, hat, & muff combination which is the only ensemble I modeled with one of the new demo hairs from Bewitched (Lemon Island 83/200/28). You can pick this hair up along with two of the latest styles for free next to any of the new hairs. And if you prefer the House of Heart textures don't forget to visit there also for the free wearable demos (Remember look for the hairs marked with the sparkling "New" signs and look for the small picture of all the new styles. The new release small picture will contain the demos). And the skin is from A Piece of Candy (Immintel (160, 180, 100), which you can find for $1 along with an all new black diamond hunt going on this week.

The dress modeled with the above gifts (and pictured below) is a lucky chair win available at Crimson Shadow (Crimson Shadow Rezzable (189, 182, 27) designed by Draconic Kiss. If you aren't lucky at Crimson Shadow, but still want a dark dress check out this weeks free offering from Vintage Clothing Reproductions (Zebranky sim - walk straight ahead from central landing point), you'll find the dress and headpiece upstairs both compliments of Skye.

Another store I stumbled across this week was Made for You (Ichoen (75, 52, 58) which offered some goodies for guys and girls! You'll find a unisex freebie box on the table as you enter and the dress is near the entry of a side space which has dresses. You'll also find two lucky chairs here!

The updo is the *TVT* freebie hair and the short hairstyle is from Bewitched's clearance area which has a ton of $1 hairstyles like the one above.

Keeping busy ...

I've been wandering around and found a couple of places to check out. M'S FACTORY (Nipponbashi (85, 13, 27) is a cute spot to pick up tons of outfits for girls. *All* the outfits in this area are completely free. You'll find over 30 outfits here. I've shown it with the new free hair from +YUZUKAMIYA+ ( Tohl777E 197/33/22 - wander around this area to find more free items).



While near M'S Factory you'll want to walk, fly, or tp over to the Love Soul Mall area. In the Honey Soul ( Nipponbashi 23/15/25) are you'll find the following dress for free , but there is an additional dress not pictured available for $1 (glitter dress). Also while here pick up the Love Soul Catalog. Contained in the catalog are instructions on how to redeem a coupon included with the boxed catalog. When you go to the store, wear the coupon, and touch the box in the Love Soul store you'll receive a box containing 6 items (pose, dresses, swim wear, pants, and shirts)!

Have you heard? Bijoux (Takaraduka/219/140/39) has released some killer hair (one of which is free - Takaraduka (217, 171, 33). You'll also find a slew of dresses here.



Someone told me that <3> ( PopFuzz 108/209/34) had a ton of free dresses out while I was away. I decided to check it out and there are still a couple of dresses hidden in with the rest for free $0. The stores pretty empty so I'm assuming fans will be in for a slew of cuteness soon.



I thought the free hair from Junewave(Nanba (194, 64, 27 ) would compliment these dresses nicely. I also decided to check out the discount basement while on the Popfuzz sim (PopFuzz 116/174/21) and found a number of older <3 size="3">Angel Sienkiewicz also for free. Unfortunately the dress by Angel Sienkiewicz is for free because someone is selling it. If anyone knows where Angel's store is please post the slurl. She had the best messenger bags and I don't see them anywhere. Thanks.



If you have time you should swing by *Miroku* (waseda (132, 218, 27) and drag your guy friends along, because there are a couple of outfits here for him! You'll find 3 camping spots here for group members, don't fret there's an invite box near the camping chairs. So if you like the outfits (2 dresses 1- 10 min & 1- 60 min, 1 male outfit 30 min) join and then camp. If you're pressed for time you'll find two free outfits next to the camp chairs (1-m, 1-f) for free. In the south east corner of the store you can find 3 dresses ($1 ea), Tux (m - $1), baseball jacket (unisex $1), free retro bathing suit ($0 - f) and also two outfits for those avatars 30 days or younger (1-m,1-f). You may also spy a free bangle and choker. (Shown are a mixture of camping, free, and $1 items from Miroku).



Lastly, if you haven't checked out the new Japanese magazine S-LOVE vol,002 you'll defiantly want to head to LOVE LIFE AGANCY (ALC 150/47/29) and pick it up. Wear the magazine, thumb through it, and press the "present" button whenever it appears (this is a new feature not present in vol,001). Sometimes you'll receive a landmark to the store, but other times you'll receive a gift (including free male skin from NexR & undies for the guys & the cute shoes from La Petite Fleur that I wore in all the photos.) While I'm mentioning NexR I'm wearing one of their $7 skins in all the pictures and NexR is adjoining the Love Life Agancy so if you like the skin pick it up.



And all the poses (with the exception of the pose included in the Tuli outfit) used came from Imperial Elegance (Glenn 159/219/28) which is having a sale - $15 per pose that will be retired. Sale is until June 19th and then those poses will no longer be available in world ...

I picked up both pairs of shoes that I'm wearing from the Free Dove (Gallii 113/53/33) which is one of those must visit freebie haunts. The white pair of shoes is courtesy of Insolence; black pair from *SM Vendor*. ($0 / m & f/clothes, shoes, hair, skin, animation overrides, jewelry)



At AQUA (Glinda 227, 29, 89) I picked up two cute dresses for free and the hotpants & bikini top set is $5 for a limited time. I hadn't heard of this place before and it has tons of sexy outfits. ( $0 - dresses, $5 -hotpants/ F)



While at a hunt I spotted Trinity Outlander who had on a smexy, smexy lace outfit. She directed me to Kunglers (Agapema 241/137/48) where I found two lace outfits. You'll find both dresses upstairs. ($0 - 2 dresses, F)



Last, but certainly not least I hit A Piece of Candy (Immintel (160, 180, 100) for the Little Italy blue diamond hunt. I spotted all the diamonds easily and I'm sure you can too. They're sculpty so just make sure to walk around and give them time to rez. There were 4 outfits included in the hunt and one skin. I also picked up one of the $1 tops (not pictured) from the dollarbie post, where you'll find additional Another Shop skin mods. Candy is really good to her patrons and usually offers (as she has this week) a new release at a special introductory price. This week she has a couple of outfits for $10 each. 101: Random Hopping

Woot, post #101 that's a lot of darn blogging! So tonight I was pretty bored after finishing my shift up at the Velvet (My friend Zac (the dj) asked me to come and hang for a while. So if you get a chance stop by and say hi after 8 pm. This would be an ideal time to meet me rather than call/instant message me a hi. =). Cristinia let me tag around behind her to document her freebie frenzy and this is the restults:

The first stop was at a little market set up until 14 April. There's a little over 20 booths at Waseda (waseda 125/121/26) market. Most things were fairly inexpensive so we really took our time looking around. There were lots of freebies ($0) and a couple dollarbie items. Some items aren't marked as being free so it really pays to scroll over everything. There's also a booth that is filled with completely free items- these items can be found at almost any freebie place, but would be helpful for either a male or female human avatar just starting.



For the pants outfit I used a pair of boots I found on the docks at the Hobo Info Hub (Calleta 78,163,25 -follow the railroad tracks to the docks.). I'm also wearing a pair of glass shoes from Ada Store ($0- Fontaine (39, 104, 50). The skin is an oldie, but goodie from Rabbit Skin ($0 - NEOJAPAN TOKYO 147,60,22).


Next we hopped over to Japon's Seaside Mall (Japon 81, 7,22). Although this appears to be a newer place with lots of open vendor slots the freebie section is nice. There is a lot of variety in the freebies: a couple of dresses, guitars, tree, hair accessories, pets, shirts to name a few. There's also a $10 and $15 dollar photo studio with several $10 packs of textures that may be of some interest. Here's a pic of a nifty little maids outfit I picked up at the Japon's Seaside Mall:



The tights are from the Waseda market, hair from +LALA Moon+ Prim Hair Shop (LALA Moon (126, 210, 28) - which has also added a number of camping chairs for hair, skin from Rabbit Skin, & shoes from Ada Store.

Access (Access 158, 108,22) sim also has a small market set up, but there were no signs so I'm not sure how long this one is set up. You'll find a fair number of stalls set up at this area also. I only saw two vendors that were also at the Waseda market area. So it would be a good idea to hit both the goods ranged from clothing, to avatars, to furniture. You'll find dollarbie skin for the girls & freebies including clothing, avatars, hairs, & furniture for both males and females. Couple of the looks, but believe me there are more from the market area:

Lastly, I checked out the bottle hunt & art show - read more on Candy's blog here. I picked up a couple (well, 3) bottles ($1/) at Candy's store Apiece of candy (Immintel (160, 180, 100). Skin & dresses from the hunt. I also saw that the eggs from the sim to sim easter hunt were still out, so if you didn't get those you may want to rush over and pick those eggies up before they are gone.

I found a couple of outfits at Campers Mall (Orions Vale 200,122,107) The Sakura Tank & Pants set is unisex; the Fashion set has jewelry included in the set. ($0) Also at the Campers Mall you'll find a couple of free kimonos at Renka (Ornions Vale 240, 118, 106). all $0

Ends & Odds (Odessa Majestic 24, 165, 198) offers sereval $1 goodies for both guys and girls. Snickers Snook's shop is small so everything is pretty easy to spot. There is a bikini and board shorts for guys on the wall and a nice butterfly bikini in the vendor also. She's just starting out so take a look.

Going along with the butterfly theme Pappillon (Virtual Akiba 120,183,51) has several butterfly themed items (shoes, earrings, wings, necklace) among it's many freebies.

ICEY shop (Argon (35, 20, 21) is having a grand opening with a number of items shoes, dress, and skirt as gifts to celebrate. $0

Luxury Hair JADE (Sannomiya (229, 138, 40) has a number of items that may be of intrest on their freebie wall (eyes, neko eyes, & accessories) the Jade hair 5 is also a transferable $1 hairstyle that you can pick up and pass on.

Analog Dog Hair (Triggerfish (28, 27, 21) has a new $1 pack of hair on it's SALE wall. (This is the wall that has a huge SALE sign on the top of the wall not the wall with hairs with sale signs on the individual packs. This new pack shows the 3 styles in it and is located next to the "$1" sign.) The new $1 pack of hair has 3 different styles of hair in it (3 in 1).
