Today is the last day of the Catty Shack hunt! So if your into neko wear or urban stuff you'll want to check it out. (Look at the entry below this one for the info) I've found a couple more neko freebies that I'd thought I'd start this entry off with, but I've got a lot of different looks to show you.

The beautiful Indian style jewelry is from Yak & Yeti which is an entirely free store specializing in Asian clothing and accessories. It's featured in a lot of the photos so I thought I'd mention it first since all the pictures of the clothes from Yak & Yeti are at the end of the entry. Yak & Yeti is supported solely through donations and you can give Annapurna's blog featuring more photos of her clothes for guys and girls, accessories, and furniture offered to us citizens. You'll be able to find super deals if you're lucky by scrolling over hair packets or listening to chat when the $1 packets are yelled out. Some are $100, $50, & $1 instead of the normal $195/pack or $99/fatpack in the clearance section. Remember if you take part in hunts or attend packed events Do NOT wear animation overrides, mystis, bling, primmy accessories, and if need be go bald and use those non prim outfits! It's just rude to do otherwise.

101: Random Hopping

Woot, post #101 that's a lot of darn blogging! So tonight I was pretty bored after finishing my shift up at the Velvet (My friend Zac (the dj) asked me to come and hang for a while. So if you get a chance stop by and say hi after 8 pm. This would be an ideal time to meet me rather than call/instant message me a hi. =). Cristinia let me tag around behind her to document her freebie frenzy and this is the restults:

The first stop was at a little market set up until 14 April. There's a little over 20 booths at Waseda (waseda 125/121/26) market. Most things were fairly inexpensive so we really took our time looking around. There were lots of freebies ($0) and a couple dollarbie items. Some items aren't marked as being free so it really pays to scroll over everything. There's also a booth that is filled with completely free items- these items can be found at almost any freebie place, but would be helpful for either a male or female human avatar just starting.



For the pants outfit I used a pair of boots I found on the docks at the Hobo Info Hub (Calleta 78,163,25 -follow the railroad tracks to the docks.). I'm also wearing a pair of glass shoes from Ada Store ($0- Fontaine (39, 104, 50). The skin is an oldie, but goodie from Rabbit Skin ($0 - NEOJAPAN TOKYO 147,60,22).


Next we hopped over to Japon's Seaside Mall (Japon 81, 7,22). Although this appears to be a newer place with lots of open vendor slots the freebie section is nice. There is a lot of variety in the freebies: a couple of dresses, guitars, tree, hair accessories, pets, shirts to name a few. There's also a $10 and $15 dollar photo studio with several $10 packs of textures that may be of some interest. Here's a pic of a nifty little maids outfit I picked up at the Japon's Seaside Mall:



The tights are from the Waseda market, hair from +LALA Moon+ Prim Hair Shop (LALA Moon (126, 210, 28) - which has also added a number of camping chairs for hair, skin from Rabbit Skin, & shoes from Ada Store.

Access (Access 158, 108,22) sim also has a small market set up, but there were no signs so I'm not sure how long this one is set up. You'll find a fair number of stalls set up at this area also. I only saw two vendors that were also at the Waseda market area. So it would be a good idea to hit both the goods ranged from clothing, to avatars, to furniture. You'll find dollarbie skin for the girls & freebies including clothing, avatars, hairs, & furniture for both males and females. Couple of the looks, but believe me there are more from the market area:

Lastly, I checked out the bottle hunt & art show - read more on Candy's blog here. I picked up a couple (well, 3) bottles ($1/) at Candy's store Apiece of candy (Immintel (160, 180, 100). Skin & dresses from the hunt. I also saw that the eggs from the sim to sim easter hunt were still out, so if you didn't get those you may want to rush over and pick those eggies up before they are gone.

Relay For Life - Clothing Fair

I know there are going to be a ton of posts about the fair. So I only focused on clothiers that provided transferable wears (mainly because I was shopping, lol). Remember to check out the Relay for Life vendors and support a good cause!

Saturday at the Gossip Girl Sim

Hey Dolls,

If you haven't heard there's some big festivities planned this weekend on the Gossip Girls sim. I decided to feature my favorite designer's $1 deal offerings here, but there will be many other vendors offering up goodies for you all there. So on to Nef's lovely creations from the Ivalde's booth (GossipGirl3 35,159,27) on the GossipGirls3 sim:



The Marianne dress is available for this special event for only $1. I showed it here with Another Shop skin mod that is no longer available- oops. You can get the original Another Shop skins in a variety of skin tones at Another Shop (Lippert (74, 176, 179) for free. ($0) I was lucky enough to be given the hair that is available on the lucky chair at BP* Shop (Osaka 147,138,21) after waiting a mere 6 hours to see an A. I wish you much better luck.($0) The shoes are from Tesla's which again if you're lucky you may be able to win on her Lucky Chair (read about it here). ($0)

I picked up the unisex hair at Boon (Yurakucho 74, 80, 35) available in a fat pack ($0). I lowered the hair a bit on my head, so the style worn as is looks a little different. There's also a skin here for $1.

Although there were two additional $1 dresses I was only able to purchase one of them at the time of my visit. Here's the dress:



The Siri Denim dress will be a great addition to any spring wardrobe and what a bargain at $1. Besides providing all the dresses for $1 in her Ivalde's booth Nef also passed on ALL the information about this weekend's festivities going on at the Gossip Girl's sim. I'll share it below....

Closing Time

Two great designer's are no longer going to be selling their current collections in SL. It's a sad day, because as this month draws to a close the clothes at both Last Call and the vendors at Prim & Proper will disappear. So, if you've ever wanted to experience great designs now is the time. The Last Call designs are between $300 (for the catwalk collection) - $100 for most dresses, men's outfits, some shoes, and jewelry. Everything in the Prim & Proper store is $100 or less, male accessories are on the 4th floor. (hopefull) Pics under cut. Free 4 Fae

WOW! What more can you say when a creator offers so many amazing outfits, accessories, and furniture for FREE. That's right FREE; $0!

I got an im this morning from Vry Offcourse (from Starf*cker skins) telling me about a new store that opened up in her shopping mall. I wasn't busy so I tped right over to see Free 4 Fae.

Now I'm not going to spoil it all for you guys, but I am going to show you some of the *amazing* outfits, wings, accessories, and furniture. I promise this is not all. There is more!

Fae 4 Free is the brainchild of designer ColeMarie Soleil. "[She] decided to do [Fae 4 free] after not being happy running [her] old line curious collections."

She decided to stop selling for a while, but then all her collection was just sitting in her inventory hidden away. So she started giving to friends, but then she generously decided to share it with everyone.

ColeMarie Soleil plans on adding to the Fae 4 Free store every week. She already has 45 items complete that she needs to take pictures of and upload. So don't forget to tip. Each upload cost $10 and she's already uploaded many pictures.

Don't forget there is also furniture and garden accessories available at Fae 4 Free. So definitely something for everyone!

I was checking out different orientation centers and the following outfit is from the Walker Orientation ( http://slurl.com/secondlife/Walker%20Orientation/119/102/44 ) sim. I just clicked on options until the outfit/skin/hair/shoes were offered to me, so no need to feel as though you have to speak Japanese to participate. This is the skin used in the two pictures above and the one immediately below. Freebie Jeebies is a nice freebie area outside of Rose Columbia's store Wilted Rose. At Freebie Jeebies you will find a selection of nice accessories including purses and jewelry, clothes (flexi dresses, t-shirts, pants, underwear), shoes, male attachments, and goth skins ranging in price from $0-1L. Along with all of this Rose offers two completely free avatars (one male and one female; both white).




And after you finish checking out Freebie Jeebies you *will* definitely want to stroll inside of the Wilted Rose store and check out Rose's selection of newbie friendly hairs that range from $2L-$10L and are both male and female friendly.
